About us

With a passion for education we as group of friends started visiting rural schools & conducting various workshops from 2014.

Our first complete school kits were dispatched to Hemalkasa School & Karjat zp school in 2014-15.

School kits are special & novel for rural children & we assemble it with our own hands & in our group of friends & well-wishers.

Student’s happy faces & encouraging response from teachers & parents made us traverse more on this enriching path & finally Saksham foundation was formed officially on 1, May 2019 to do something more sustainable & concrete.

And since inception there has been no pause in our work & we continue to strive to support education & medical needs.

We believe if children are engaged & excited to participate in classroom activities their learning outcomes show drastic improvement.

  • In spite of the pandemic we kept our engagement with our ZP school pocket & students by completing most important projects like ‘Complete school kits’ for 850 students for entire Gorhe school cluster (17 schools).
  • We initiated ‘new smartphones’ drive for ZP Gorhe main school, Taluka wada  so deserving students remain connected & managed to give 15 New Smart phones which students will use in groups & teachers will monitor the same.
